Aho supports Ngāi Tahu artists and craftspeople. All products are created by Ngāi Tahu artists, expressing authentic Ngāi Tahu arts and crafts by blending traditional and contemporary techniques in innovative ways.
Ross Hemera
Established Ngāi Tahu artist Ross Hemera designed the imagery for the Aho shawls.
The images are inspired by Ngāi Tahu rock art, which has fascinated Ross since his childhood.
